I have my cell phone set up so I can send Twitter updates if I want to from it.  It requires you enter the number “40404″ if you want to send these updates from your cell phone.  I don’t have unlimited texting on my cell phone, I get 200 incoming and 200 outgoing (but not 400 incoming/outgoing, even though I usually wind up sending less than I receive, because Sprint “together with” Nextel s*cks and they don’t realize it should just be a flat 400 and you can send/receive any number of either up to 400 no matter what…totally different post altogether).  Anyway, I have mommy brain.  For instance, I forgot to call my sister and my nieces back last night…I’m so sorry, by the way…we’ll connect up tonight!  I forget a lot of things.  I am not used to this aspect of motherhood.  I will never be “ok” with forgetting things.  I have always been the one who remembers everything…like that time I was a kid and almost ate bunny poo off the bathroom because I thought I’d died and gone to raisin heaven!!! What?!? I said ALMOST, don’t look at me with that wrinkled nose of disgust!!!

Well, sometimes when I open my phone to text a Twitter in, I forget you have to enter that number 40404, in the “To” field and instead I immediately start typing my Twitter update message.  But remember I have a phone, it’s not a blackberry or anything fancy with a whole keyboard.  So each number has 3 or 4 letters on it so I can type out my message.  So in order to get the letter “s” to pop out I have to hit the number “7″ four times.  So instead of typing out letters, I’m typing out some sort of Cryptogram combination of numbers.

For instance, if I’m trying to Twitter a message that says:

“Woohoo it’s FRIDAY!!!”

It will actually be cryptogrammed and will read:

966666644666666144487777133377744432999111111111111111

I usually don’t look at the screen as I’m typing, because I’m concentrating so hard on hitting each number enough times to get the letters output that I need to make a word (or at least make sense) so I usually wind up getting about half way through typing the message before realizing that I needed to type in 40404 instead.  I swear this mommy brain gets me every time!!!  I suppose this is not going to go away any time soon, if at all.
