We went to the mall last week and Children’s Place had cotton feety pajamas. We dress Li’l Foot in feety pajamas year round because during the summer the air conditioning will wind up making her cold in the middle of the night, which in turn will wake her up out of sleep and that’s just NOT ok! So the rule in our house is no exposed skin while sleeping (except for her cherub face and cheeks of course)!

If she’s not wearing feety pajamas she’s wearing pajamas with long sleeves and long pants. And since in this case the eft would be exposed I make the exception to my own pet peeve about wearing socks to bed. Li’l Foot does wear socks to bed. When she’s old enough to obsess about wearing socks in bed and have it be ap et peeve of her very own and can put herself back to sleep and cover her feet if she gets cold in the middle of the night…THEN and only then can she not wear socks while wearing feety-less jammies. (Wooo…that was a huge long run on sentence, but I had to make my point!)

So anyway, last week…mall…Children’s Place…feety jammies for the summer…right, as I was saying…So they had a very limited stock left at this point of the season. Very few girl colors. But that was not going to deter me. They were 3 pairs for $25. I bought 4 pairs. 2 of them were decidedly boyish and 1 orange pair that could be considered gender neutral and 1 pair girly colors (read: pink). I didn’t care what the colors were because they’re jammies and who could care. I love them all. And she looks super cute in them. They are size 3T which just overall baffles my mind. She has very little room to grow in them, but they are supposed to fit really snug so maybe they are a bit big on her.

But here’s the very important question for Li’l Foot. I snapped this entirely too cute picture of her sleeping yesterday in one of her blue pairs. First I should show you before the question…

The question…

Li’l Foot says, “Do these horizontal stripes make my butt look big?”

Heh! I couldn’t resist getting the rump shot! She begs for it when she sleeps with her tooshy up in the air like that! Also extra credit if you can identify the character on her big girl underwear!!!
