Li’l Foot insisted thy HAD to be on branches very close to one another. They are on the tree exactly how she put them on. She makes me so proud! I’m usually a ornament nazi, making sure there’s a place for all ornaments and every ornament in its place. There are strict guidelines for where ornaments can and can’t hang. That’s not so much the case this year. I’m happy Li’l Foot wanted to help. And beside pushing the ornaments back further on the branch than where she hung most of them…which is to say about 1/8 inch in on the end of the branch…I didn’t obsess over any thing she did. That kinda makes me proud of me too!
Funny you mentioned your reaction to someone else hanging stuff not where you would have wanted. As I hung the ornaments on my tree this year, EXACTLY where I wanted them, I was wondering what the hell I was going to do when I had little brats… er kids… wanting to hang some too. Maybe there’s hope for me yet!
