It’s how she rolls. With Tinkerbell and Strawberry Shortcake.
Last night, after the court room incident, LFD and Li’l Foot and I went to grab a slice of pizza for dinner. As we sat there eating, the following conversation took place:
LFD: Yeah, what’s with the doubled up pairs of underwear today?
Me: ?
LFD: Li’l Foot is wearing 2 pairs of underwear!
Me: She is? Why?
LFD: I don’t know, you tell me!
Me: I have no idea. Did school do something funky?
LFD: No, they wrote about it on her sheet and asked me about it when I got there to pick her up.
Me: Ummmm, I…(now peeking inside the waste band of her pants…seeing that indeed a pair of Tinkerbell underwear were layered on top of the Strawberry Shortcake underwear she wore yesterday)
Me: Wait, Li’l Foot dressed herself this morning!
LFD: Yeah right…blame it on the kid! Nice!
Me: No, SERIOUSLY, she did!!!
Me: Li’l Foot didn’t you get dressed yourself this morning?
Li’l Foot: Yeeeeeeees!!!
Me: See? She did! (And she totally did. I gave her pants, a shirt and the Tinkerbell underwear but I didn’t realize she just layered the underwear.)
And so that’s how Tinkerbell and Strawberry Shortcake became fast friends! I can totally see them hitting it off, can’t you?
