I got a parking ticket last month for parking at the train station on the grass next to a parking spot, which on the other side I was also next to some rarely used train track. They banged me for parking within 10 feet of the train tracks. Effing MTA cops! Here’s my thing in list form:
There was no sign saying don’t park there!
They shortly there after put up signs saying don’t park there!
They’ve just taken those signs down like last week! (I don’t get why they put them up after the fact and then took them down shortly there after?)
I took pictures in the weeks that followed of cars parked there that didn’t get tickets!
I was coming home late that night because I had an industry function and I didn’t trust that I’d be safe walking through that huge parking lot all alone (I’m scared of the dark…HATE!)
I’m fighting this with everytyhing I’ve got…my hubbie who will dress up in his parking authority uniform and my baby who I will pinch tomake cry the entire time I’m in court so the judge feels bad for me/us! (Or the judge could be ticked about her crying and hate me and give me a stiff penalty!
Still? Effing MTA cops suck!!! Get a real job asshats!
You will NOT pinch that child and make her cry. WILL . NOT!
That might be tricky…the judge could SEE you pinching her and THAT could open up a whole other bag of worms…can you say “Hello Family Court?!” :0)
