Today marks a first in the Li’l Foot household. We are going to parent’s night at daycare. They’ve not only sent home reminders in note form but we’ve also each been asked no less than 10 times each if we were planning to attend. Should I be scared? Is Li’l Foot flunking bubble chasing and bubble smacking? Is Li’l Foot wiggling out of the stroller during their walks? Is she shaking the rain stick too hard so that it sounds more like a monsoon stick? (Which reminds me, I must get one of those things!) Does she sleep too much/little? Eat too little/much? Is she keeping them on their toes with all the milestones she’s hitting?
We’ve actually been told that we must attend tonight because apparently they are going to be having a slide presentation and supposedly Li’l Foot is plastered all throughout the show. I want to record it on my camera so badly, but I won’t. I don’t think it would be appreciated by other parents if I recorded it and then posted it. I know I wouldn’t appreciate it if I was a bystander parent who wasn’t all into the internet thing (because you know I’d have to show you guys if I did record it). It will just have to be one of our little family memories.
I will be sure to give you a full report tomorrow for sure. My curiosity is peaked!
For now I can report that my birthday dinner last night, was fantabulous!!! It was the best birthday dinner ever!!! Hubbie rocked the Chicken Scapriello!!! I can’t believe he managed to make that dinner AND watch Li’l Foot all afternoon. She did not relent, she slept all of 15 minutes for him all afternoon. He is my hero. I am so lucky to have him. Some day maybe he’ll actually read my blog and know all the nice things I say about him.
